Well congratulations are in order to Miss Tyra Sanchez, no longer the "Other Tyra". This year's winner of RuPaul's Drag Race 2. Tyra did deserve the win, and IMO the competition was over when she wore her country outfit with all the interchangeable looks. She won hands down in the fashino. JuJuBee was a letdown towards the end and Raven could have won but it was the attitude. It was even worse than Tyra and she was in the botton when Tyra wasn't.
The reunion show was worth the price of admission. Shangela should not have left the first episode. Everyone looked really good. Tati is still bitter and I did not believe that hug she gave Raven. I liked Raven the whole time but I'm glad she didn't win after that sour message she left on the mirror for Tyra. What the hell was Mystique talking about? She just didn't have the money or clothes to have a good look, not the Mexican drug cartels. Pandorra Boxx could never win, but she did win Miss Congeniality. RuPaul Drag 3 is now casting and this summer there is will be a spinoff show called Drag U.

ReplyDeletefor the drag artists of america.Rupauls groundbreaking show has all the fab and glam...and now focused on a new light a true light that has long been overlooked before,an opportunity to be recognized for your talent,beauty,and personality.And that is soooo important for any drag artist to be taken serious for their hard work which in todays hollywood can open many doors if you are recognized as a serious drag performer.Not like in the old days when a dragqueen only got a bit roll and was usually portrayed as a victim,prostitute,clown,or psycho...(except for the warhol girls or john waters Divine)that was pretty much it.So, thank you RUPAUL for kicking open that door of opportunity with your high heeled boot.RUPAULS DRAG RACE is a TRIUMPH and great success for the dragqueen superstars of tomorrow.The RUPAULS DRAG RACE has the right elements to make it entertaining,classy,edgy,and stylish without looking like the GONG SHOW or RANCH A RAMA.
i liked the show and think that TYRA SANCHEZ is fab.i also think that RAVEN had the right drive,talent and fashion sense but wrong additute. if you are running for dragqueen of america you are representing. Now i do understand all about being thick skinned in the biz but if you cant get along with other queens who are trying and have nothing more to say but venomous reads your not really showing that you can get along or accept others your too selfish and very rude and THAT makes you an ugly jaded old queen and im sure that alot of people would agree thats not cool...its tacky!!!i know that this was a competition but to constantly attack TATIANA just because she was trying was off your mark instead of focusing and appreciating what YOU have and network you chose to be cruel.Maybe wayback in the 80's it was cute to be cruella the queen but us drag performers have come along way and would like to see us rise above and shine with talent as a drag performer...you RAVEN are not as seasoned as you thought dear because if so you should have never shown yourself just because a new girl on the block arrived.BEST WISHES TO TYRA THE FUTURE IS YOURS HOLD YOUR HEAD HIGH AND KEEP IT REAL.

The show is an inspiration to many.Its concept of course is a television first.This is a ray of light to be shined on the new and upcoming talent and pays homage to the legends.Miss Tyra(the other tyra) is a gifted performer with all the right fashion glitz.Best Wishes....Keep up the good work Mother Ru
