RuPaul's Drag Race Season 2 Winner
Well congratulations are in order to Miss Tyra Sanchez, no longer the "Other Tyra". This year's winner of RuPaul's Drag Race 2. Tyra did deserve the win, and IMO the competition was over when she wore her country outfit with all the interchangeable looks. She won hands down in the fashino. JuJuBee was a letdown towards the end and Raven could have won but it was the attitude. It was even worse than Tyra and she was in the botton when Tyra wasn't.
The reunion show was worth the price of admission. Shangela should not have left the first episode. Everyone looked really good. Tati is still bitter and I did not believe that hug she gave Raven. I liked Raven the whole time but I'm glad she didn't win after that sour message she left on the mirror for Tyra. What the hell was Mystique talking about? She just didn't have the money or clothes to have a good look, not the Mexican drug cartels. Pandorra Boxx could never win, but she did win Miss Congeniality. RuPaul Drag 3 is now casting and this summer there is will be a spinoff show called Drag U.

Where are all the fakes? Held up in court!!
t
Where have all the fakes gone? Ok, I admit I have seen a faux Louis Vuitton or Chanel once or twice in my lifetime (years ago). Has anyone noticed that you can't buy any fakes, knockoffs, or faux brand names purses or handbags anymore? Once upon a time you could go to the corner store or just a plain corner and buy the best Gucci, LV, or Coach Replica bags at 1/10th of the price of retail. For years merchants have sold and imported counterfeit goods and sold them with no legal ramifications. Well no more. Many High End Brands and Companies such as Coach have filed lawsuits claiming copyright infringement. Coach has started cracking down on stores that sell counterfeits of its famous bags. They are calling the crackdown "Operation Turnlock". Coach has filed 170 lawsuits suing for $1 million for each counterfeit sold. They are going after stores, merchants and even landlords where the stores to pressure them to stop selling the fakes. Since last year Coach has won hundreds of thousands of dollars in judgments. Big name purse makers are also using "Company Spies" to enter stores in secret to see who is selling real or fake. The International Anti-counterfeiting Coalition says counterfeit purses make up 10 percent of fake goods sold in the United States. To spot a fake employ the 3 P's, scrutinize place where you purchase, packaging, and price. Check the feel of the purse, weight, and stitching. If its too good to be true, well you know.

Remember Miss Marion Garnet?
photos courtesy of peachtree beauty supply
We are going back in the day about nail polish. I remember when Miss Marion nail polish was all the rage. Garnet, Cinnabar. When you put a clear coat of polish on top of the garnet it turned into this bright Candy Apple Red. I still haven't found a color to match it. I don't find the brand as much as I used to but you can still get online.
