I wore false eyelashes over the weekend and I hadn't done so in awhile. The Eyelash trend started a few years ago with thicker, bolder lashes. Nowadays they come in all lengths and colors and even jewelry. I've always admired anyone that can put the individual eyelashes on. I could never do it and I have never been talented enough to do either. But I still try.

Hot Trend of the Week is the Little White Dress. Everyone has a go to Little Black Dress in their wardrobe. If you are brave the new trend is the Little White Dress. They have gotten a bad rap because they aren't easy to keep clean (I never wear white at a bbq). But now you can take along travel size stain remover. The white dresses are super easy to accessorize with hats, scarves and belts.
First up are the Chanel Vinyl Bag. They remind be of those clear bags I took in High School. The problem is I didn't want everyone to know what I have in my bag. I like the size and the design. I would carry it with not too much in it.

The Fashion Lounge Honors Fashion, Entertainment, and Civil Rights Icon Lena Horne. The Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award Winning Legend died Sunday at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, at age 92. She heralded bravery, glamour. She was tireless fighter for Civil Rights, speaking out against the treatment of Black Soldiers during WWII. She was passed over roles and many roles was cut to ease racially insensitive audiences in the South. Throughout her career she perservered in film, stage, television and her ultimate triumph on broadway. We honor you Miss Horne.
