I wore false eyelashes over the weekend and I hadn't done so in awhile. The Eyelash trend started a few years ago with thicker, bolder lashes. Nowadays they come in all lengths and colors and even jewelry. I've always admired anyone that can put the individual eyelashes on. I could never do it and I have never been talented enough to do either. But I still try.

The Fashion Lounge Honors Fashion, Entertainment, and Civil Rights Icon Lena Horne. The Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award Winning Legend died Sunday at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, at age 92. She heralded bravery, glamour. She was tireless fighter for Civil Rights, speaking out against the treatment of Black Soldiers during WWII. She was passed over roles and many roles was cut to ease racially insensitive audiences in the South. Throughout her career she perservered in film, stage, television and her ultimate triumph on broadway. We honor you Miss Horne.
